Day Trips Ex Port Douglas With Quicksmart

Quicksmart, a luxury 24 metre catamaran is designed for adventure and provides a small group of passengers a variety of water-based activities in safety and comfort.

Quicksmart travels to the spectacular Agincourt ribbon reef on the very edge of the Great Barrier Reef and spends a leisurely 5 hours at play. Passengers can experience snorkelling, introductory diving and certified diving.

During the day, Quicksmart will visit 3 different reef sites to experience a variety of marine life with a choice of 3 certified dives.

Agincourt Reef is known as a “ribbon reef” which runs parallel to the Continental Shelf. These ribbon reefs are recognized as the most pristine eco-systems in the reef’s environment. Clear water provides the best possible underwater visibility, encourages rich coral growth and supports spectacular marine life.

Quicksmart has a choice of 22 dive sites where divers can explore spectacular coral formations and underwater gardens teeming with vibrantly coloured marine creatures. The locations vary with the conditions, however each site is chosen for visual impact, ecological diversity and the challenge of discovery.

On board, your crew will encourage you to relax and enjoy all the comforts such as fresh water showers, air-conditioning, bar facilities and a delicious lunch which includes seafood.

Travelling daily from Port Douglas with coach transfers from Cairns and Palm Cove.

Includes:

  • Pick up at Port Douglas accommodation
  • Dive and snorkel equipment
  • Morning and afternoon teas and tropical smorgasbord lunch.
  • An Environmental Management Charge of $4.50 is levied for all adults and children 4 years and over entering the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage area. THIS CHARGE IS INCLUDED IN THE CRUISE FARE.
